A Legacy Rooted in Passion

At Vinyl Vineyards, our journey began with a simple idea: to bring people closer to nature, music, and fine wine. This vineyard is dedicated to the dreamers, adventurers, and lovers of life who seek more than just a place to stay but a place to connect. It’s the kind of connection that transcends the ordinary—a connection to the land, to loved ones, and to yourself. Whether you’re sipping a glass of wine in one of our restored vintage trailers, hiking through the rolling vineyards, or simply watching the sunset over Paso Robles, we want every moment here to be a celebration of life’s most cherished experiences.

We dedicate Vinyl Vineyards to those who cherish the beauty of life’s simple moments. This vineyard is not just a family business; it’s a labor of love born from a dream to create a space where people can escape the daily grind, unplug, and recharge. It’s for the conversations shared under the stars, the laughter around the campfire, and the memories created over a bottle of handcrafted wine. Here’s to the timeless moments, the laughter shared, and the stories yet to be told—at Vinyl Vineyards, your story becomes part of our legacy.

Meet the Craftsman Behind the Wine

Winemaker

Jeff Hevert

At the heart of Vinyl Vineyards is our winemaker, Jeff Hevert, whose journey from reality TV producer to vintner is a story of passion and reinvention. With a creative background in television and a hands-on approach to life, Jeff found winemaking to be the perfect blend of artistry and craftsmanship. As a “40 year old cellar intern” Jeff started his career over under the tutelege of Molly Lonborg at Alta Colina Winery. He approaches each bottle of wine with the same precision and attention to detail that he applied to restoring vintage trailers, carefully considering the nuances of every grape, every barrel, and every vintage. Jeff’s philosophy is rooted in sustainability, ensuring that Vinyl Vineyards not only produces exceptional wines but also stewards the land for future generations.

But it’s more than just the technical aspects of winemaking that inspire Jeff—it’s the connections that are forged through sharing a bottle of wine. For Jeff, every wine tells a story, and every sip should evoke a memory, a feeling, or a sense of place. He has dedicated himself to creating wines that are not only complex and balanced but are also meant to be shared with friends and family, with music playing in the background and laughter filling the air. Jeff’s ultimate goal is to craft wines that celebrate life’s greatest moments, encouraging guests to savor both the wine and the experience.

Heritage & History

2003

The
Beginning

The vineyard’s roots were planted in Paso Robles in 2003, where Cabernet Sauvignon and Syragh varietals began to thrive under the sun-drenched skies of California’s Central Coast. The unique terroir of Geneseo AVA set the stage for future winemaking excellence.  Today, Vinyl Vineyards is replanting the 26 acres of vines to varietals best suited to the sub district’s world renowned alluvial soils and unique terroir.

2018

A Vision is Born

Jeff Hevert, while working in reality TV production, made a tv series about vintage trailer restoration. Inspired by this creative endeavor, his wife Dina envisioned a vintage trailer vineyard retreat where luxury, nature, and handcrafted wine could come together in perfect harmony.  They purchased the first of 6 vintage trailers, the David Bowie trailer, began restoration, and the rest is history reborn.

2019

Building the Dream

After years of dreaming and planning, Jeff and Dina purchased the land that would become Vinyl Vineyards. Their shared love for Paso Robles and the entrepreneurial spirit of the Central Coast drove them to rehabilitate an old vineyard, combining their love for fine wine and vintage trailers.
